Hotel Athanor Centre - Beaune (Cote d'Or)

Central location with charming historic appeal.

The can't-be-beat location was excellent with nearby free parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the overall stay was great.

The simple, over-priced breakfast could be skipped.

The employees of the hotel were nice and kind. My room was big size and huge with 2 separate beds, had smoke detectors for safety measures. The breakfast spread was nice hot and gorgeous with fresh croissants and the standard bread & croissants😃

The location of Hotel Athanor Centre is perfect, right in the heart of the charming old town. I particularly enjoyed the cute staff and the good buffet breakfast with a variety of options.

Room was a bit chilly at night.

The location was great and the staff were extremely helpful. The decor in our room and the lounge/ dining rooms was very modern and elegant.

Perfect location. On wednesday and saturday the market is right on your doorstep. Very good price/quality

Great location and good breakfast. Family room was as described. Comfortable bedding. Nice common areas.

Decor of rooms was very basic.

The hotel was beautiful old and overlooked inner courtyard. My room was good-sized with a private bathroom. The location seemed particularly good and incredible with the market at the door.

Be sure to ask about restaurant recommendations ahead of time, especially on Sundays, as many places are closed. Location to the Hospice is a real advantage.

Air conditioning needed desperately in summer. Our room was far too hot to sleep

I liked the location, right in the centre of Beaune, the staff was friendly.

Only downside the bar closed at 10.00pm so we had to hurry to finish our night cap.

We loved exploring the historic center right outside our door, including the excellent Hospice museum a short stroll away. The staff was friendly and helped us find a great place for breakfast just down the street. The room was clean, always a plus when traveling with kids.

My kids wished there was a designated play area for them.

It's location on the edge of the old city and ease of parking

V friendly staff. Great location. Good air conditioning in the room. Not too big. Nice bar area - though very quiet when we were there. We managed to park across the street and as Sunday was free, we paid 2 Euros for about 36 hrs of parking.

The room lacked a few simple items that would make a big improvement: These included: Shower curtain over the bath Kettle and coffee/tea facilities (Very helpful for those with children who are bottle fed) Fridge (again, very helpful for those with small children) We felt that for the price these small items should have been included.
